Our Philosophy
Our work is guided by a Chinese proverb:
“授人以鱼，不如授人以渔”。
Give a person a fish and you feed them for a day; teach them how to fish and you feed them for a lifetime.
This principle reflects a core belief that meaningful and sustainable growth comes not from simply providing answers, but from developing the ability to think, reflect, and act independently.
In both counselling and training, the focus is on equipping individuals with practical skills, structured frameworks, and the confidence needed to address challenges outside session.
The focus is not only on learning concepts, but on cultivating the ability to use them effectively in real-world settings. Rather than offering temporary solutions, the work emphasizes building long-term capacity. Our goal is to support individuals and professionals in translating insight into action, and learning into real-world practice.

The Wang Centre for Integrated Care is founded by Jenny Wang, a counselling practitioner and training facilitator with a background in psychology and counselling. Her work focuses on supporting individuals and helping professionals in developing clarity, structure, and confidence in both personal and professional contexts.
With experience in counselling and skills-based training, she integrates structured, evidence-informed approaches with practical application. Her work emphasizes not only understanding, but the ability to apply learning meaningfully in real-world settings.
